Please refrain from booking flights and accommodation until confirming that the activity is taking place with the relevant event owner.

If a registrant withdraws from a RACS event, the following refund criteria are applied:

• Cancellations of more than 10 weeks prior to course: 95% refund of course fee

• Cancellations of less than 10 weeks prior to course: 50% refund of course fee

• Cancellations of less than 6 weeks prior to course: No refund of course fee

For registrants requesting special consideration, applications will be considered by the Manager of the event owing to medical or compassionate circumstances. These applications must be made in writing for consideration.

Occasionally it is necessary to cancel courses due to insufficient registrations or other unknowns. In the unlikely event that this happens, RACS will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible to registrants. RACS takes no responsibility for additional individual costs incurred. When an event is cancelled, registrants will receive full reimbursement.

 

Please note:

• Some RACS events may be photographed for promotional purposes. If you do not wish your image to be published, please indicate this on your registration form or contact the relevant event owner

• RACS events are often supported by sponsor partners. If you do not wish for your name, specialty, and state to be provided to sponsor partners, please indicate this on your registration form or contact the relevant event owner

• the above refund schedule does not apply to Examinations events. Examination refund policy is available at Surgeons.org/examinations
